This was the first Sun Ray I owned, got it back in 2003 or 2004. it is a Sun Ray 1.. Unfortunately the power supply had some of the "bad caps" in it, so it no longer works ;-(
This is the front side. In this model the card only worked when you put it in with the contacts on the left side.
It also had a headphone and micro phone jack on the front.

The back side of the Sun Ray 1. Has a power connector, Ethernet, 4 USB, a 15 PIN VGA connector, a composite video in (which I don't think there was ever software that would work with it?) and a audio out and audio in.

This was my first "taste" of Sun Ray technology. It was at the Sun Training Center in Atlanta. This is a Sun Ray 150. The server for the classroom was a fully loaded Sun Ultra 10. (The class was ES-421, which now days is called "Sun Fire High-End Server Administration" but back then it was Sun Fire F15K Administration. Interesting the actually F15K we were working on was in Ft. Lauderdale.
